The Osprey Nest | Williams Lake First Nation
Osprey Nest is a two-storey hybrid mass timber, mixed-use facility that brings together retail, gathering space, and accessible housing. The 4,200 ft² building includes a full-service restaurant at grade, residential units above, an indoor mezzanine for small gatherings, and a rooftop patio that extends the building’s social space outward.
More than its program, the project is defined by its approach. Designed in alignment with the Williams Lake First Nation’s economic and cultural vision, Osprey Nest reflects a commitment to long-term community value. The use of mass timber supports environmental responsibility and regional identity, grounding the building in place while advancing a forward-looking model for development.
